Hey everyone! Whew, has it been a while since I’ve updated my site. You all are keepin’ me busy with those social media sites. Anyway, if you haven’t seen already…Callie’s Closet was launched last week. Thank you for the continued love and support. Prints will be cycling in and out of the store, so if you see one that you like up now, it might not be there next week!
CON NEWS: I WILL be attending MegaCon in Orlando the third weekend of March. Keep an eye out for my Bayonetta costume, and a couple other surprises… 
Depending on how contests and sales go, I might possibly be going on a “con tour” this summer – all across the US and even to Canada and some other countries. Let’s see how we do.
The Callie website rant is over for now. I need to update these pics – goodness! So many more shoots have come out these past couple months. I’m on Facebook the most, and this week is the Storybook/Princess Fantasy series release! This is a series I have always wanted to do, and I will surely be continuing it.

Hello geek/cosplay/superhero-villain fanatics! Here’s some exciting news: I am going to be making my FIRST EVER CON DEBUT! Being based in Lakeland, FL, I’m lucky to be smack-dab in the middle of Tampa and Orlando, two big cities for cons. The Holiday Matsuricon the weekend of December 14 – 16, 2012 is going to be in Orlando…and Callie Cosplay is going! Woohoo! I am debuting the two newest characters I’ve been working on, Emma Frost and Bayonetta. My third cosplay will be one of my current features…but with Christmas twist. 
Anywho, I’m continuously busy with college and work, but after dinner tonight I plan on finishing Bayonetta’s wig. Have a great night, everyone!

Good afternoon, everyone! It’s been a week of school, work, tests, rehearsal after rehearsal, two concerts, and being quite under the weather still. I’m still not feeling well, but I’m not letting that hold me down! I do want to share this: As you all know, I am a music management major, so I’m in the band at my school. I had two concerts yesterday (which were amazing btw) and for the night one, I wore my catwoman boots! Hehe…representing Callie in my real life is too much fun.
As for costuming…Can someone please restrain me from Halloween sales? I ended up buying about 20 different wigs and a lot of costumes and other rad supplies (yes, the costume part is cheating, but being a full-time college student [music major on top of that], working full-time, and being very ill, I deserve a break every now and then!). Whew! In addition to superheroes, I am going to start cosplaying more video game and movie characters as well. Pirates, princesses, villains, and more!
Work on Bayonetta is going slow, though I’ve got a good game plan for the costume now and more costume supplies for her. The slow part mainly encompasses the guns. O.o those are going to be a challenge to make, but in no way do I doubt my determination to make them. Emma Frost is going great…I just have a few more details to work out on the costume. A photoshoot for her and also Black Canary are coming up soon!

I want to start out by saying thank you to everyone who is visiting and checking out my site! I’ve been working on it A LOT and am learning more every time I get in here. Here’s some info about upcoming shoots/characters:
Currently, I am quite ill, so I will be out of commission for a week or two and won’t be able to do any shoots… 
But ALAS! When I am sick, for some reason I refuse staying bed ridden all the time and actually do productive things. With all this time on my hands (I’ll be going back to school and work now, but aside from that) I can work on new characters! My white boots FINALLY came in…I’ve been planning on cosplaying as the White Queen for a while now. I will begin working on her cape now that’s the only piece of the puzzle left for her outfit completion. Also, my wonderful new photographer Ashley Brewer has given me a black wig, and while rummaging for a Domino wig for Halloween, I came across a wig I’ve found the perfect use for: the top of Bayonetta’s hair. It is with these two wigs that I will start making the ultimate hair for Bayonetta! Oh how wonderful it was finding about 10 wigs from years and years ago that my mom had bought me during a KMART closing/Halloween discount sale. So buying something for cheap NOW, even if you don’t yet have a use for it, IS beneficial. I will also start working on the Bayonetta outfit and her guns. Lucky for me, my dad gave me some pvc pipe. I’m also thinking about using it as a staff for a couple other characters…

Hi guys! This is your friendly cosplayer Callie! Just wanted to start the News Feed here….the website is ALMOST COMPLETE! Yay! I just have to edit the homepage a bit more, and add the videos I have so far. I’m still getting a hold of this whole website thing! Yes…I have learned a whole lot in the past 12 hours about maintaining a webpage hehe! Anywho, I hope you guys like it.
